World Trade Center Project
Photographs by Peter Page
This body of work is about how the World Trade Center was seen in all types of weather and light on a daily basis. It is a neutral documentation of two unique and well-known buildings and their surroundings depicted as isolated structures in an inner urban landscape.
All of the images were photographed from the 18th floor of 22 Cortlandt Street during 1984 -1985. The formal approach of the subject matter was conceived as a fine art project to be produced as a limited edition.
The World Trade Center Project contains 20 photographs. All are Black and White and printed in a single intimate print size of 6"x8" on tinted gelatin silver paper and matted on 11"x14" archival board.
